On-Board Computer Upgrades

| If you have a Boxster or 996 which was not
fitted with the On-Board Computer option, we can activate it with a simple
single-button control for as little as £120. Two button, and stalk
operation systems are also available at additional cost. |

The single-button system gives access to
readings for:
Outside Temperature
Fuel Range
Average Speed
Fuel ConsumptionA second button, or stalk, gives access to the only other
feature of the OBC - the Speed Warning Gong. |

Cruise Control
|
|
Cruise control is also a popular retrofit for 996 and Boxster models which
have drive-by-wire (eGas) throttle systems. This includes 996 Carrera
models from MY2000 onwards, Boxsters from MY2000 onwards, and all 996 Carrera 4 cars. If you want to fit cruise, it makes sense to fit the OBC at
the same time, as a new 4-stalk control unit is required. See pricing

Rain Sensors
|
| Automatic rain sensors are a popular option in
most cars these days, and we can retrofit the factory system to most Porsche
models (911, 928, 944, 968, 993 and Boxster). The rain intensity is
measured with infrared light, and the wiper pause intervals are controlled
automatically. Apart from the obvious convenience and passive safety
benefits, it prevents the wipers being activated on a dry windscreen,
thereby reducing wiper blade wear. |
